Welcome to Auroo Chauffeurs. These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website and chauffeur services across Melbourne and Australia. By booking with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use our services.

Booking

Bookings can be made online via our website or by contacting our helpline. Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and any applicable tolls or fees. An estimated fare will be provided before confirming your booking..

Payments

Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or cash upon completion of the ride. Corporate clients may request a business account with invoicing provided for expense tracking.

Cancellation & Refunds

Bookings can be cancelled online or through our helpline. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the notice period. If we cancel a booking, any pre-paid amounts will be refunded in full.
Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a refund, repair, or replacement for major failures.

Vehicle Conduct

For safety and cleanliness, only bottled water may be consumed inside vehicles. Smoking and alcohol consumption are not permitted in vehicles.

Privacy & Personal Information

We collect personal information as required to deliver our services. Your information will be kept secure and used only for service delivery or, with your consent, for marketing.

Waiting Time

Auroo Chauffeurs is committed to providing efficient and timely chauffeur services in Melbourne. However, there may be instances where wait times occur. Here’s how waiting time is addressed in our Terms and Conditions:

  • Arrival Notification: Clients will be notified approximately 20 minutes before driver arrival.
  • Free Waiting Period: A complimentary waiting period of 5 minutes applies after the chauffeur arrives.
  • Waiting Charges: If delays extend beyond this period, waiting time charges may apply, as published on our website.
  • Excessive Delays: IIn the event of unreasonable delays, clients may cancel the ride without penalty by contacting us.

  • Independent Contractors: Our chauffeurs operate as independent contractors. Auroo Chauffeurs is not responsible for actions outside the scope of service.

  • Limited Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auroo Chauffeurs limits its liability to the cost of the booked service.

Lost & Found

  • Auroo Chauffeurs is not liable for items left behind in vehicles.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost property but cannot guarantee recovery.

  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time.
  • Updates will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
