Big changes are coming to Melbourne Airport in Spring 2026 with the opening of the new T123 Transport Hub as part of the Naarm Way redevelopment project.
At Auroo Chauffeurs, we know that airport travel can already be stressful, so we want to help our clients stay informed and prepared before these changes take effect.
Passengers travelling through Terminals 1, 2, and 3 — including Qantas, International, and Virgin Australia flights — will notice a completely new pick-up and drop-off experience.
The new transport hub has been designed to make airport access easier and more efficient by:
A new pedestrian bridge will connect the hub directly to the terminals, creating a smoother journey for travellers.

The new transport hub and road network have been developed to improve safety, reduce delays, and support future terminal expansion. While it may take some time for regular travellers to adjust, these upgrades are expected to make the airport experience much easier in the long run.
If you’re being dropped off or collected by family, friends, or a driver, you’ll notice:A dedicated pick-up and drop-off hub.
During the early stages of the transition, travellers are encouraged to allow some extra time while everyone becomes familiar with the new system.
